Halo Water Proofing has been the Lyons area's go-to call for Vapor Barrier Installation because we answer the phone, show up on time, and stand behind the work.
We're Halo Water Proofing — a NY-licensed, fully insured waterproofing outfit that's spent years learning exactly how water moves through Lyons-area foundations, and exactly how to stop it.
Every technician on our Lyons crew is background-checked, factory-trained on the equipment we install, and held to the same estimate we quote you over the phone — no upsell surprises when the truck pulls up.
Call now and talk to an actual technician, not a script. We'll walk you through what's likely going on and get a crew scheduled.
📞 +1-866-476-1348Most Lyons customers didn't wake up one day with a flooded basement. It usually started small. These are the early signs worth calling about.
A musty smell in the basement or crawl space is usually moisture you can't see yet, not just "old house smell."
Even small cracks are worth a second look — they rarely stay small once seasonal ground movement gets involved.
It's easy to dismiss efflorescence as harmless dust, but it actually signals active moisture movement through the wall.
If your pump is running around the clock instead of only during storms, it's worth having it evaluated before it fails completely.
This is one sign we tell Lyons customers not to wait on — wall movement tends to progress rather than resolve on its own.
Peeling paint low on a basement wall or warped baseboards upstairs often trace back to moisture migrating up from below.
Every Lyons property is different — soil, slope, foundation age, water table depth. We size the fix to the actual problem, not a one-size package.
Storm season in Lyons, NY means our emergency line gets busy fast — we triage calls by severity so active flooding at your Lyons address jumps the queue ahead of routine inspections.
Call for Emergency Service →Hairline cracks are how most Lyons basements start leaking. We use epoxy injection to seal the crack from the inside out, stopping the leak at the source instead of just painting over the symptom.
Get a Crack Assessment →Most sump pump failures we see in Lyons happen during the exact storms that need them most — a battery backup closes that gap when the power drops.
Schedule a Pump Inspection →Some Lyons lots need both an interior and exterior system working together — we'll tell you honestly if that's the case rather than selling just one.
Ask About Drain Systems →A damp, uninsulated crawl space under a Lyons home drives up humidity, invites mold, and wastes energy year-round. We seal it with heavy-duty vapor barrier, address any standing moisture, and can add dehumidification if needed.
Get a Crawl Space Quote →Commercial properties in Lyons carry bigger stakes when water gets in: inventory, tenants, downtime. We scope commercial jobs with the same crew leads who run our residential work, backed by written specs and timelines.
Request a Commercial Quote →No confusing steps, no hard sell — just the same process our Lyons crews follow on every job.
We start with a phone conversation, not a script — enough to know whether this is an emergency dispatch or a scheduled inspection.
We walk the space with you, point out what we find, and explain it in plain language — no jargon, no pressure.
You receive a written, itemized quote before any work begins — the number you approve is the number you're billed.
Once the repair is done, you get documentation of the work and a written warranty — not just a handshake.
You get a written number before any work begins — the price you approve is the price you pay, no change-order games.
Because we're actually based near Lyons rather than routing calls through a national center, we can usually get someone out the same day you call.
Our repairs come with written, transferable warranties — a real asset if you sell the Lyons property later.
We'd rather earn a repeat customer with an honest small fix than push a system you don't need.
We document the damage with photos and a written scope your insurance adjuster can actually use, and we'll walk you through the claim process.
Every Lyons job reflects on the next referral, so we treat each one like it's the only advertising that matters.
"Called at 6am with a flooded basement and had a tech at my door by 8. No runaround, no upsell — just fixed it."
"Fair price, showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves. Wish more contractors worked like this."
"Our old sump pump died during the worst storm of the year, obviously. They had a battery backup system installed within a day. Haven't worried about it since."
"Managed our building's parking garage waterproofing project. Kept to the schedule, communicated well with tenants, minimal disruption."
"We had three foundation cracks and expected a huge bill. Turned out only one needed injection — they didn't try to sell us on the other two. That honesty is rare."
"Technician actually explained why the water was coming in instead of just quoting a number. First contractor who's done that for us."
